We offer students the chance to see the sights of London, the UK’s capital and largest city. These include iconic favourites such as: Big Ben, the Houses of Parliament, the London Eye, Natural History Museum, the Tower of London and Buckingham Palace. Students can also enjoy the experience of a boat cruise on the River Thames.
Oxford is a beautiful city of stunning architecture, history and culture. We will visit ancient and modern colleges, fascinating museums and galleries, and the parks. Students will get a Harry Potter experience as well as time to buy a book in the famous bookshop. Later in the day, we will take a short trip by train to Bicester village, one of the largest shopping outlets in Europe. A cultural day followed by a bit of shopping will make it an unforgettable experience for many!
Stonehenge is among the wonders of the world and is Europe’s best-known pre-historic monument. Students can explore the ancient site on foot and visit the Neolithic houses to discover the tools and objects of everyday Neolithic life. The world-class visitor centre has 250 ancient objects on exhibit and are reconstruction of the face of a 5,500-year-old man. Students will then enjoy a lovely English-themed picnic in the grounds and discuss the history of Stonehenge while filling in their English project books.
Thorpe Park has a large variety of exciting attractions, roller-coasters and fun activities to do. It is located between the towns of Chertsey and Staines-upon-Thames in Surrey, just 50 kilometres away from central London.
